What the Cat® Warranty Covers
The warranty guarantees that your Cat® product is free from defects in materials and workmanship. If a defect arises under normal use, Positec will repair or replace the tool free of charge during the warranty period.
What the Cat® Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damages or malfunctions resulting from:
- Natural wear and tear of the product, components, or accessories (e.g. cables, blades, belts, brushes, clamping devices).
- Mechanical damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow the operating manual.
- Overheating, overloading, mechanical stress, or entry of liquids, insects, or debris.
- Failure caused by power supply non-compliance.
- Repairs made outside an authorized Cat® service centre or with non-original parts.
